Father's Day

This was Eric's first Father's Day. On Saturday, we went to Las Brisas for lunch with Grandpa, Mike, and Linda. It was a beautiful day at the beach once the morning fog burned off. We were very lucky to have four generations of family present for the celebration. On Sunday, we went over to Michelle's parent's house...but forgot to take pictures:(

Blake Charles Ward meets the world! Within an hour of getting home from the beach on Memorial Day, my water broke and we headed to Hoag Hospital. We were lucky enough to walk right in and get a beautiful ocean view room.
The entire staff at the hospital was wonderful, and they worked hard to make the labor and delivery as painless as possible. After 11 hours of labor, Blake was born at 3:11am on May 29, 2012. We instantly fell in love with our little man, and our lives are changed forever.

Memorial Day

For Memorial Day this year, we decided to keep it low key since our due date was rapidly approaching.We decided to go to Dog Beach in Huntington Beach to give Bailey some much needed attention. Below are some pictures of the fun in the sun... Little did we know hours later, I would be in labor!

Mother's Day

I got to enjoy my first Mother's Day, as an "almost mother" on Saturday, May 12th, with Eric and Linda. It was a beautiful southern california day, so we went down to Laguna Beach. We enjoyed lunch and amazing scenery at the rooftop bar at Casa Del Camino. Then strolled around the shops of downtown Laguna. It was a great day, with great company! Thanks Linda for driving down to our neighborhood!

The Baby Shower

What an amazing day!  I was treated to an unbelievable baby shower by my best friend, Jaclyn. The shower was held at French 75 in Laguna Beach, and we were lucky enough to have a gorgeous, sunny Southern California day. Jaclyn pulled out all the stops, and created one of the most beautiful and memorable days of my life. I was surrounded by family and friends, and showered with love and too many wonderful gifts! Baby Ward is certainly loved and spoiled already. Thank you to everyone who made it such a special day!

Week 33

We are well into the 3rd trimester now. I'm still feeling good, and we are getting very excited as we get closer to the big day. Baby Ward is estimated to be a little over 4lbs, and 17inches long.
