Blake is 5 Months Old

Oh boy! What a great month it has been. We have had the opportunity to enjoy some good family time, football games, and BBQs with friends. And the little man seems to take all these activities in stride. He is pretty easy going, and enjoys just checking things out.

New tricks include:

• Playing with his toes endlessly, and even trying to get them in his mouth...a true feat of dexterity!
• Rolling back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth (you get the idea!)
• AND DRUMROLL...Sleeping through the night. Twelve wonderful hours straight!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch at Irvine Regional Park with Nanny, Grandpa, David, Theresa, and the boys. And a good time was had by all. However, it was brief for us because nap time was rapidly approaching. But, we were still able to get a few photos and Blake got his first pumpkin!

We took Blake to his first USC game against Colorado. The little man must be good luck because it was a blow out! Blake seemed to enjoy looking at all the people, lights, and scoreboard.

Blake is 4 months old!

These days the saying "Time flies when you're having fun" is holding true. The last month has really flown by. Our little baby is no longer a newborn...He is a little man full of smiles, laughter, and personality. And he has already learned how to work a crowd, all it takes is showing off those blue eyes, a quick smile, and he is melting hearts!

Blake continues to be "above average" when it comes to size. He weighed in at 16 lbs (63%) and is 26 inches long (85%). And he is easily fitting into 6 month size clothes.

Blake's newest skills include:

• Laughing, especially when tickled by Eric.
• Grasping toys with both hands.
• Imitating sounds, "mama" is his favorite (And I didn't coach him at all... I swear!)

Summer BBQing

We invited some friends over for a little Sunday afternoon BBQ and football watching. Our neighbors, The Martini's, came over and we were able to snap a few pics of Isla and Blake together.

Blake is Game Day Ready!

Football season is upon us, and the whole family is looking forward to a great season from USC...even Blake.
We can't be totally sure yet, but this little guy may just be the star QB come 2032!

Blake is 3 Months Old

Blake turned three months old:) And Mama went back to work:( While at times the hours move slow, it seems that the weeks disappear in the blink of an eye. Blake continues to be an absolute joy! He is changing so fast now. It seems like every week or so he acquires a new skill!

Newest party tricks:

• Rolling over
• Holding his head up steady for longer periods
• Blowing spit bubbles
• And discovering his own toes!

Like I said in my earlier posts.... He's very advanced. Next on the agenda algebra and piano lessons!
