Summer Vacation

We took a road trip for summer vacation with our great friends from Prince of Peace. We had four families together in total, and headed to Gulf Shores, Alabama! We got to see some new states on the 12 hour drive... Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. The drive went as well as we could have hoped for, and the house we rented was beautiful. The adults and kids had a good time, and we will remember this trip always!

Gavin 4 months old

Our little guy has mastered rolling in both directions, and is happy to show off this new skill. He is still always happy as can be and so fun to be around. We couldn't love him more!

Fourth of July Parade

For the second year in a row, Blake has rode his bike in the Castle Hills Fourth of July Parade. Blake was pretty serious about decorating his bike this year, and it paid off! He won the "Best Bike" award in the Parade.

Gavin 3 Months Old

Our little Gav is a such a sweet baby. He loves to smile and coo, and is super easy going. We are so blessed by this great addition to our family.

Blake's 4th Birthday

Pirates and Mermaids from school and our neighborhood gathered for Blake's 4th birthday! We had a joint birthday party with Blake's good friend, Meredith (who shares the exact same birthday). The kids enjoyed a bounce house, costumes, face painting, games, and cake. It was a great party and we were super excited to celebrate another great year.

Gavin 2 Months Old

Time is flying!!!
Gavin is two months already. He has perfected his coos and smile, and is growing like crazy. At his two month appointment he weighed 12 lbs and 13oz (70%) and was 24.5 inches long (98%), and easily fills out all his 3 month clothes.
He loves cuddles and being held, and we love it too!

Gavin One Month

Our little guy is one month old today. Gavin is an easy going baby thus far, and we are happy about that!
He has lost the hair on the front and top of his head(just like Blake did), and the jury is still out on eye color.
We are loving being a family of four, and Blake is a very proud big brother.
