When I grow up...

Prince of Peace had their "What I want to be when I grow up" Parade this October. Blake was pretty sold on the construction worker outfit, then the night before tells me that he really want to be a paleontologist. Geez kiddo! That's a tall order for the night before the Parade.
Luckily he decided he can be both when he grows up, and was willing to dress as the construction worker.

Gavin sits!

Our sweet boy started sitting unsupported just before seven months (and is very proud of himself).

Gavin at 6 months

Gavin is growing like crazy! He was a healthy boy at his six month check up, and smiling at all the nurses and doctors.
Height: 27.5in (80%)
Weight: 17lbs 1oz (45%)
Gavin loves his brother more than anything, and the feeling is mutual. Blake can get Gavin to smile and laugh in under a second. We hope they always feel this way!

These two want to be around each other every second of every day. Love it!

Blake's first hospital stay

Poor Blake caught a nasty Strep infection, that caused some very large lymph nodes in his neck. Our boy spent two nights in the hospital, but handled it like a champ. By the last day he was asking me to play music and blow up gloves as balloons to have a party!

Gavin 5 months old

Our sweet little guy has started solids (ie rice cereal) and loves it! He is also a good little sleeper!
