Baby Ward is growing!

26 weeks and counting! I'm feeling good these days, and baby continues to get good reports for the doctor at each visit. Baby Ward is estimated to be weighing in around 1.5-2 lbs. and measuring around 14inches.

Creating the Nursery

We officially broke ground on the nursery about 6 weeks ago. Eric has been making quick work of all tasks (one of the many reasons I love him). First, he installed wainscoting and painted. Then came the crown molding. And just a few weeks ago we got the crib and dresser delivered (Thanks Grandma and Nanny).

As you can see... We all assumed our typically family roles. Eric working hard. Bailey and I laying down on the job!

So, things are coming along. Hopefully, we will have pictures of the final product to share soon. 

Happy New Years

This year we were lucky enough to ring in the new year again with our good friends, Matt and Katie. For the second year in a row, we headed up to Mammoth together to enjoy some fun in the snow. Unfortunately, this year there wasn't much snow on the mountain. So, everyone decided to pass on snowboarding.

We still had a great time though hanging out in The Village. The girls focused on shopping while the boys focused on sampling all the finest libations. Then we all enjoyed a delicious NewYears Eve dinner at The Chart House.

The morning after we made it up to Twin Lakes, and took in the beautiful scenery.

Happy Birthday!!!
Happy Birthday to our family blog that is. With the coming of a new year and the coming of a new family member, it seems like the right time to start a family blog. We hope to use this blog as a way to keep family and friends up to date with what is going on in our lives. Additionally, I tend to be pretty bad at scrap booking or keeping photo albums, so I hope for this to also serve as an online photo album for our growing family.
